The Takrud Mon Maneechote is likened to the Kaew Maneechote, a mystical gem or the Kaew Sarapatnik, a wish-fulfilling jewel. It emits its own radiant glow, like the full moon, and grants the owner’s deepest desires.
The Kaew Maneechote is a sacred treasure sought after by many. It is believed that whoever possesses it can manifest their wishes as they please. It repels misfortune, attracts luck, enhances Metta Maha Niyom (loving-kindness and popularity), and aids in fulfilling one’s aspirations.
The Takrud Mon Maneechote is consecrated with the Mantra Padmāmaṇi Jyoti—
“Om Maṇi Padme Hūṃ”—
a six-syllable chant meaning “Holding the jewel in the lotus as the ultimate refuge,” symbolizing the foundation of fortune and wisdom.
Om represents the universal nature of all beings, each possessing form (Rūpa), name (Nāma), and the essence of Nirvana (Nibbāna-dhātu). It signifies how all beings experience suffering due to Avijjā (ignorance), Taṇhā (craving), and Upādāna (clinging).
Maṇi refers to Sati (mindfulness), likened to the Kaew Maneechote, a wish-fulfilling gem that helps people overcome hardships and illuminate darkness, allowing clarity in all things.
Padme signifies Paññā (wisdom), akin to a lotus that, despite growing in muddy waters, flourishes when the body and mind are cultivated with mindfulness, leading to Jñāna Paññā (transcendent insight).
Hūṃ represents the pure essence of Nirvana, which is inseparable from mindfulness and wisdom.
Inside the Takrud Mon Maneechote is a silver takrud inscribed with the sacred “Na Hua Jai Setthi Maha Ut” yantra. It symbolizes Maha Ut, receiving wealth from a single direction without leakage—securing prosperity, ensuring financial stability, and continuously attracting abundance with no end.
